Information about the Geography bee

The National Geographic Geography Bee

The Geography bee is a competition ran by National Geographic. It starts out with a classroom bee, then a school bee, then a state qualification test. If you pass the test then you go to the state bee with 80 different students from around you state or territory. At the state round you will go through a preliminary round, if you get first place in your preliminary round; you will go to the final round for your state. If you win that you will end up in the National Geography.

In the National Round you will be given simple questions in the beginning, and harder questions later on. The next videos will be examples of what you will be in for if you make it to the National Round.
